I want to do more narrative work.

Many thousands of hours with a camera on my shoulder has made me a strong, creative, and agile handheld operator. I deeply understand natural light and how to shape it in fast-paced environments. My visual storytelling choices are motivated by story and emotion.

Feature films like The Wrestler, American Honey, and The Rider inspire my documentary work.
